thanks John!... surf temps registered in the low eighties... i usually mark the temps with each snap in the lower right-hand corner nowadays so when i look back ill have some history of temps during the seasons.

yes!.. a spectacular display of brute force and aerial acrobatics! 90 percent right at the hook set and some spool burning runs. i try my best to horse them in on my Ultra Lites during the summer periods in warm water. the 8 or 12# test line is a great help... it would be an impossibility with 2 or 4# test mono.

Excellent catches .Fish wont stay still much for pics as they are in high gear .How many times these guys jump when Hooked? How high was the water temp .I was wading a bit in a lake  last week and it sure felt warm !
