... Rick sounds like a great idea for the gulp products

I ended up buying one of the soft-sided cases for jars of Gulp! that Berkley makes.  It actually works pretty good.  Haven't had any bad leakers yet though.

Rick... yeah my hands were a mess during that trip... but the crawlers saved the day... i ran out of the waxies ( i prefer the waxies over the maggots) and had an old jar of maggots that leaked all the fluid and the bait hardened.

Kelly,  ive had luck with the hellgrammites ice fishing also

i remember one trip it seemed like i was tagging the bigger gill in a school drop shotting them also

I've only used Gulp! crawlers for walleyes and don't mess with the real thing anymore.  I saw the jar of Gulp! in your photo.  I use the white waxies to tip my spoons.  Gives the gills and crappies a little target to shoot for.  This year I found Gulp! angleworms in red wiggler color.  They are a little bigger than a real bloodworm and work great so far.  I rig them wackie style on a dropshot rig.  The bass like them too and not just the smaller ones.

Have had some luck with Gulp Alive Hellgrammite's and Crickets. Been wanting to try the Pinched Crawlers. Have some Uncle Josh Pork Crawlers that I want to try pieces of.

Rick i have never used the GULP crawler before... have you had any luck with it?

the bait was live crawlers left over from the past couple trips... i actually prefer the Pink Waxie by GULP but i ran out!... i get just about equal action between the two baits.

Gulp! crawler?  The wind is up here too and kept me in all week.  I'm still feeding off the memory of my last trip out though.

Spring up here is terrible with wind… Spring and Fall are seasons of the wind in mid-Michigan ... I had great summer periods with very little wind last year… spent most of the time fishing out of the kayak in calm seas.

Yep you have to fish with the weather… in fact I love fishing the foul weather days… there is no one else out there to compete with… lol
