John... i never weigh fish...i go by length for everything... unless i believe i have a state record. i was just going by a printed chart for length... and i read the wrong column... i read the column for walleye by mistake.
yep your c.pick profile looks like our n.pikes when they get that length. Earl's n.pike looked very thin for this lake... very unusual.
here's the chart i use to estimate. at 27" our n.pike usually weigh in at 4.66#
... again Congrats on that fine fish!
thanks John...he seemed a little thin for his size at 27#... normal weight would be just under 7# he may have been over a pound lighter.
Nice catch on UL . What do you suppose that Pike weighed?
