Do you love big bluegill?
Both are 1/80th jigheads. Both have pink crystal chenille. Top has white marabou with red Krystal Flash, the bottom is my attempt at a Silent Stinger. I realize the tails are a little long. I kind of like the longer tails. We'll have to see if the fish do as well.

I was able to fish the jig with the white marabou tail today. I caught several small Crappie on that jig.
There is a second lake that adjoins the one I was fishing. Many folks have told me that while Crappie in Sahoma don't get very big, the Crappie in Pretty Water do. Even the gent running the bait shop told me I should try on Pretty Water today. So, after 3 hours of playing with dink Crappie, I headed up to Pretty Water. Promptly lost the jig I tied to some brush.
Hehehe. Now I have a good reason to tie some jigs up!
At my local lake, pink is one of the go-to colors for Crappie, as the local baitshop sells those "rosie red" minnows. They're actually a peach color. If I could find a peach crystal chenille, I'd probably kill the Crappie.
GREAT JOB ALLEN and the color combo apparently works well here and down in North Carolina.Well proportioned for a small jig.............
I think you've got it!
Sweet Allen - keep em coming - cant wait until summer , what a great year it is going to be on BBG
Gills? Heck! Crappie!
Caught a few today. Hopefully, get a few more tied up, and go after 'em Monday.
Those look really good Allan. I bet the gills will think so too!!!!
Nice Allen....I like the 1/80th in colder water!
