Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Size 16 Parachute Midge. It's called a "Dirty Rat", I believe. Size 16 dry fly hook, small gold wire for rib, peacock herl for bode, white poly yarn post, grizzly hackle tied parachute style, thread for the head. I made the post nice and big, so I can hopefully see it at a distance. I'll try and post up results once I get a chance to fish it.

I'm wanting to perfect this pattern, and get it down to a size 20.

I can see the eye on a size 14, size 16 is too small for me to thread my tippet into, I hate getting old..........

Good looking fly Allen
