Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Size 20 Griffith's Gnat. TINY thing! I've also got some size 16's. I tied these up primarily for Trout, but I'm sure the BG will slurp these down.

Yep Allen - its time for me to tie my hand some of those smaller flies..... hope the turn out as nice as yours.

I'm actually not sure.  It's a half-neck, gifted to me by a friend.  It's in a plastic bag, but no cardboard label.

I realized last week that I've had my flies in the fly box BACKWARDS!!!  If you'll look, the hackle that's next to the eraser is a bit deformed.  I need a tea kettle to straighten it all out.  I'm in the process of putting my flies in the correct orientation.

ANOTHER GREAT TROUT FLY and used to tie these myself when I could still see with out the use of OPTIVISORS!!!!!!!! You using Whiting Farms Hackle? The old HOffman brand I should say.......
