GUESS I am going to have to head to TULSA and do some URBAN FLY-RODDIN!!!!!! NICE MESS OF FISH, ALLEN!!!!!!!

The water in the river is really clear these days.  This makes all the fish really darken up.  You should have seen that Spot's back.  I thought I had a smallmouth!

That's a good stringer you got there, Allan. That Spot has been eating well, good colored too.

That's a good mess of fish anytime in the summer!

It's actually a Kentucky Bass, a.k.a. Spotted Bass.  They don't get as big as a LMB.  The State of Oklahoma has declared Open Season on them.  Black Bass daily limit is 6 of any combination of Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, but Kentucky/Spotted Bass has NO limit.

The easy way to tell a LMB from a Kentucky it to look at the tongue.  A Kentucky will have a dark tooth patch on the tip of its tongue.

The Kentucky is one of my target fish here.  They're everywhere.  Easily caught.  Once you know where to target them (rocky areas), you can stock a freezer if you want to.

Believe it or not, this particular stringer is from Friday's trip.  I posted a couple different videos about that trip, one with a spinning rod, one with my fly rod.
