Hey Warrior, I like it! We call 'em 'big snakes' on Marylands Eastern Shore. Lots of ponds and tidal creeks have them in the Mid-Atlantic. I used to target them, got em up to 24 in. Pinchot Lake, 20 miles south of Harrisburg, PA has them up to 28 in and over 6 lbs. They're spawning now...I might have to give them a shot...nice fighters, too.

Nice!!How long is that Pickerel? I'm guess 22-24"" 3 &3/4 -4 lbs.Lot of boneless meat on the top filet! The sides...make good fishcakes and again boneless filets on the sides in back to the tail. They taste fine through the ice!

Those are really cool fish - I love the "Chain" pattern - and this is through the ice? Sweet! From what I know about them this is a BIG Pickerel - don't they top off around 5 lbs? I think they are more of an East Coast fish - but I'd like to catch one someday.

That is an awesome looking bluegill management device. :-)
