Ya know Jim I believe the ticket here to be high winds knocking down tree limbs in 10' depths near shore before and during freeze up  . I saw tree branches frozen in ice My guess is some nice wood cover is abundant under that hole and the fish I've been catching near here are relating . I do believe my boat will be there come ice out! Good cover and close to some of the deepest parts of the lake basin areas.

Very near bottom in 8-10' Jim.Marmouskas /spikes.Only two WPerch but I probably could've caught more, left them hittin at dark.  A few days before nearby this hole I caught 4 or 5 and left them hitting then too . The white Perch and Crappie are getting thicker and longer  in my home lake.Haven't caught a Bass yet in Cupsaw through the ice . Jigged two at another lake though  .Was hoping for a big boy from the tipups near this great jiggin' hole I cut.

Very nice , John...did you get many white perch? How deep, or off the bottom, were the perch?
