Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

State Parks closed this Morning .Greg and I got turned away at the gate of Shepherds Lake .Plan B was to take the boat to my Community Lake . We worked for 5 fish ,3 Bass 1 Crappie and 1 Brown Bull head . Greg got the Crappie and 2 Small Bass and he dropped a 3rd Bass that jumped out of 53 degree water . By the end of day WT was up to 57/58. The best Fish came out of 10 feet drifting and lifting a spoon off bottom down center of the lake not far from a Flat of 3-5 feet .Crappie and Brown Bullhead Double came up on a Cement Wall /Dock in the shade about 6' . We threw 1/4 oz-1/8 oz Spoons and 32 nd-16th oz. Jigs . Orange and Yellow colors worked in the very stained water .
