Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I caught this walleye in 8 ft of water, in the weeds, with the sun high, no wind, water temp at 77 deg., air temp mid 80's, and on a Daredevil (can you say oxymoron). Some fish don't have to be big to be special. This one will remain in my memory bank for a long time.

It was border line keeper size for me but since I had plenty of Gills on the stringer and this fish was getting to that good spawning size, I let her go. Just wanted to clear that up......she would have made good table fare though. Thanks for the comment.
