Hey Troy, We got here Thursday and fished all of Friday and all of Saturday with a total of 5 Redear, which all came on Saturday after noon. Friday was exceptionally tough given the cold weather we had for so long this year and the rain they just had last week the odds were against us. We tried everything and staying primarily on Barkley and just going to Kentucky to hit a couple key spots we came up short, but I knew it could only get better cause water temps are just now where they need to be. So Saturday I decided to stay only in Barkley and not go so far into the coves staying relatively close to the main lake, fishing no bobber in the 3 foot to 8 foot zone and also still tipping our jigs with a wax worm, cricket, or chunk of crawler.

How many redear did you guys manage to catch this trip? Reason I ask, I think they've been harder to locate this year on Barkley. I did manage a dozen or so Thursday morning, went back Friday and they weren't really there. Nice fish!
