Looks like Andy takes after his Dad - what a great collection. Nice and neat - wonder who does the dusting.. Reminds me of the creekchubs and other baits that were made at Garret bait co.. In Garrett In, only 10 miles from where I grew up.
Woke up today to lots of comments on this pic and thanks fellas for all the comments. Yup my Son Andy has quite a collection and got most of it in the last 4 years or so and he really likes the JItterbugs the most. When he and I fished out of the canoe mmmmmmmmmany years ago Jitterbugs were always the first thing he would throw for Bass and we always caught some on em. We fished shallow weeds after 5 in the evening on clear windless days and they cast like rockets on 8-10 lb. line.
Vince the fish scale pattern is an old one probably and ya just don't see it much anymore. Lots of that scale pattern were done early 50's and some earlier than that in wood . To bad it got taken on you.
Yup Rex the reason I do some of these pics of old stuff is just what you said, BRINGS BACK MEMORIES, not just for the viewers here but me too.............
Fantastic array!
Nice collection
