Here's a nine inch HBG I caught yesterday. Not a giant, length wise, but it's the body dynamics that tell a bigger part of the story. It weighed 17.2 ozs. An average, healthy weight for a northern bluegill of nine inches is 9.9 ozs. This fish weighed 174% of that average, healthy weight.
