I second Rex's opinion, I bet that thing really pulled that kayak around!!! I haven't caught anything really big out of mine, and even the "decent" fish will pull it around backwards when I'm trolling.
Daniel, I've heard these are actually very tasty, once you learn how to clean them and cook them. Personally, I wouldn't know, as I haven't done that yet.

Great catch, Tim! This actually appears to be a white amur, or grass carp, given the short dorsal fin, short anal fin and the deeply forked tail. Amurs can be tough to catch.
