No..I fish off of instinct.. I seen Crappie hitting bugs in the back corner and just felt Bass would be there chasing and feeding so i threw it caught the 2 lber first cast and 2 casts later this guy. Normally for the 7-8 lbers this tim of year I have a Red shad 7 1/2 " Ribbon tail TriggerX, texas rigged.

I had some discontinued Charteuse and lime with the same head and blade set up that caught everywhere.And out fished all my other spinner baits.

I was slow rolling a chartreuse and white with gold head. 2 Blades op blade gold second Silver. Was running it over the rock flat behind me.

Cool! We have taken some very big fish in shallow water like that in early March in some of our ponds. But that is a great bass anytime, let alone in the winter! Congrats!
