Do you love big bluegill?

John I didn't check today, but the water was 45 degrees yesterday, in the main body of the ponds. Yesterday's fish all came from a cove on the western edge of the pond, up against the bank in 4-5' of water. I've learned to concentrate early Gill' efforts in these types of areas, as the water will usually warm up a little faster in those kinds of locations.
The air temps are cooler today, I will find out shortly if the fish moved back out to deeper water.
Yes nice cold water Gill! What was the water temp? I had 50 degrees in a NW cove .The fish havent moved in but I feel they soon will if this warm weather keeps up.
