Thanks, Carl. This fish came on a Creme Mayfly Nypmh tipped with a wax worm. I posted a pic of the bait last year if you wanted to see it.

Yeah John, most of the fish we caught were those stocked a month or so ago and looked similar to the 9.75" I posted from this trip. Most of the stockers we caught ranged from about 6" up to that 9.75" fish. I did catch one really small fish that couldn't have been much more than 4". I wouldn't think it was a fish hatched in the stream. I did run in to my old Ichthyology and Aquatic Ecology instructor and he said he thought he saw a redd in one of his classes and the 9.5" fish in the other pic actually milted on me when I held it, so I suppose it can't be entirely counted out, however unlikely. It was definitely nice to catch a holdover, John. Hopefully a few more made it through the summer this year as it was a bit more mild.

I think so too Adam , hatchery Trout recently stocked are usually whitish and lack color like that . Always special catching a holdover!

Thanks John. I do believe this to be a holdover fish, as well as the 9.5" fish. Both had nice colors that I haven't seen in the fish recently stocked.
