0322161831- One of the many 10-12" B.Crappie caught on the Jelly Jig

fish were chasing minnows up against the bank in 2-0 to 3-0 FOW. Dick's Jelly Jig was the bait of choice because of its flash and action. we needed a bait with a slow decent and this jig had the ticket. i cant remember the last time i used a used a float or ever tip a jig with bait in open water. this jig has excellent action on its own free swimming. tipping will only destroy that superb action. it is extremely light and some wind resistance some distance is lost. scale your equipment down with 2-0 to 3-0 super lines... got some great distance and a slow drop in the small water column... pure killer.
