Tie up a jawbreaker fly and Hans Hans rabbit strip jig and you will catch hundreds of sm and other fish those are my go to flies

Does any one fish the Androscoggin river in NH to Maine, great water for small mouth's ,I fish it in Maine with good luck

Whether in a River or a lake it seems Smallies and Rock Bass like the same habitat ,preferring the rocky crags in cool clear water. They compete for similar forage I'm sure and I catch both in the same area if I'm using worms or crawlers for bait. Both got those Red Eyes too!
