My tricked out NuCanoe Frontier 12.

Spent a couple of years looking at all the options and they all either needed lots of changes to get what I wanted, couldn't do what I needed, or cost was more than I wanted to invest. I started with…Continue

Started the install, actually mostly done just some fine tuning and cleaning up.

Yep hoping for a bit more run time but should be enough for day runs. I really wants the Traxxis but with the different release it wouldn't be real convenient for access.

Endura Max is a great trolling motor. That should give you a nice 4 to 6 hours of constant running around on the water. But bring the paddles just in case..that stuck feeling without the means of movement can be a bit..scary.

Well I broke down and ordered a Minnkota Endura Max 45. I'll stash a couple of 35 amp hour AGM batteries in the hatch. Ordered the plug and play kit and they are cutting the shaft of the Endura down to 22" for me. If I get really lucky maybe by weeks end I will have it in hand.

I weigh 168 all wet. This baby carries me and anyone else with no problem.

Ah! Mine is the Hobie Mirage Outback, with the 400lbs support, and self draining at 250lbs, and definitely need a bilge pump (for internal bailout since there are holes in the rear side that allow water to intrude) if I'm going towards the 400 to 450lbs, due to the rear side dipping low into the water. We maxed out at 510lbs, and it still float, as long as we balance out the front and back.Quite scary to be only 5in above water, rather than the normal 11in.

Leo - Frontier 12 is 650 max, 450 is the self draining capacity over that just be sure to have your scuppers in.

Great looking set up Gary. 12 footer and support 2, with a trolling system to boost? Wow. Must be a 600lbs support.
