Well theres a fella up around you growing hog bluegill i wish i could get my hands on.. I got a little taste of them but not nearly what i need.. Hopefully he remembers me this year?

Good idea. Thinking about slightly overstocking myself, when my pond is done, albeit at a smaller scale. <1 acre.

Pond is about 4 acres when full, usually around 3.5 acres most of the summer.. I stocked more than recommended to kinda counterweight the predation..

Just joining. Added 750 4" Redears to my pond last year. Hope to have some pics to monitor growth this year..

Here is the stringer my family and I caught a week ago. 6 bluegill and 1 redear ranging between 6.5in-8in.

I caught a mixed bag of blue gill and redear. My son caught a 7.5 in redear. The biggest I seen in this pond.

Ijust coult a 8" and a 6 3/4 " sedears last saterday. and a big mess of blue gill.
