John when I fished in N.C they were small biggest about 10" same when I moved back up north and fished Lake Erie caught lots of white perch around 10" or 11". I have never seen any bigger than that.

Dick , how big have you seen them ?I would say the biggest I've seen in my small 65 acre home lake is maybe 12inches. This one from the same lake is a prize to me..

It's a rarity I catch a 10.5" or bigger White Perch .This one slammed a 1" Minnow threaded
on a #6 Aberdeen hook.
