Shooter The weather sounds great the fishing sounds great. However I would not mind a few gators up here This is a picture of about the toughest thing we have and they are not too bad as long as they understand one is not interested in their female freinds

went to the lake saturdy water temp was up to 74 the wind was bad but i caught some nice fish.
they wanted a green sinking spider ,some nice 10" fish, gills and chinks.

welcome Howard,come on down,the water temp was 74 yester day ,the high 86,the low last night was 62.
i caught some fish yesterday,took home 15 nice gills and chinks.
squirrel hunten is great ,the fishing even better.



gators are ugly.

Good Morning Fellows
Retirement is not to far away for me. Looking for warmer weather. Not hot just warmer. Up north here we only have 2 weeks of bad skieing around the fourth of July. I know you fellows have great fishing, great food, and great music ( zydeco). You have to admit Doug Kershaw as born there.
I am one of those alful people who love to hunt squirrels so how is the squirrel hunting down there, They make a great surf ad turf fried squirrel and fried sunfish

i went to the lake yesterday pm,caught a few on dragon fly nymph all gills no chinks. they where scattered just off the bank in timber.
i took eight home and fried them boy where they good.

this cool spell has sent the fish deep ,i was in the lake friday and found seventy degree surface temps in protected points and caught fish suspended in two to four foot water under cypress trees,went saturday and they moved out,this weather is killing me,windy and cold,we need warm and still,to get the water temp right.
