Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I have seen this gulp alive thing everywhere and to be honest I'm the kind of guy who is skeptical on these commercial bait gigs...My question is has anyone here tried it for the BG and would you recommend it?...

John, I think it's OK to discuss this on the live bait forum.
hey i manage this group and it doesnt matter. this place is for talk about anything related to bluegill fishing
I agree they are overpriced and not worth it.
live bait and gulp alive seems like this would be where it should be posted but that just my 2 cents I tried the gulp alive 3 inch minnow my bass hit them like they were the real thing. but that's bass they'll strike a wooden stick Cut one in 1/2 put it on a 1/32 head pitched it out and drift a little a nice 7 inch gill hit it. they are not replacing my flathead minnow but if you down to nothing they'll keep you fishing. Again this is just and old man from Texas 2 cent which is worth about .o1 cents today.
Ha HA LESS THAN THAT BY NOW!
I carry a jar of Gulp wax worms every where I fish....This is a great product...the original product was a bit kinder in regards to how fast the stuff evaporates when removed from its container....but none the less worth every penny!
Thanks, Bill. Excellent points.
Well - organizationally - no worries. Artificial and live...

Do I sound like a broken record yet : )
I'm all like - "live bait live bait live bait".

When I run out of live bait, those might be a good back-up or on a back-pack trip where live bait wouldn't keep - I would recommend them as a back-up in the back of your tackle box.

Didn't want to cause a stir - I am sure there are people that don't like fishing spikes.
