Do you love big bluegill?

Okay, so you fly fish. Or maybe not. But, you want to be better, or maybe just get into more adventure.
If so, check this video.

One difference in our dreams - I would wait another month or so to use it. Fins - yes; waders - no thanks...

I like waders.
Sometimes, I just like to knock around the shore; but being able to get out a bit is helpful.
I've got wading boots for that.

And I can always take em off or leave em. They're just useful - Im a glass half full kinda guy, I reckon.

I can't stand them. I know they are a necessary evil sometimes. I was going to buy some earlier this year when I had gift certificates and I tried, but even trying them on I couldn't wait to get out of them. I absolutely agree they are useful. I had them years ago when I lived in CO. The season was just way too short without them. I just don't like them. If I get a tube I may change my tune...

One of those like or hate things, I guess.
I say, "like" because I suppose only a few people actually LOVE the things.
By June I expect I'll want to get out of em and switch to a summer pant- just thin cotton sleep britches to keep the Carolina sun off'n my legs.
But one thing I don't like is to sit wet while fishing. So, I may keep them on, but get off the water by 11am.
Which is fine.... Sunrise til lunch is enough for me anyway.

I'm a first time tuber, and I got them for that. I don't really think I'll be doing too much actual wading in them. But it's wide open at this point.

From my previous experience with wading and tubing in CO, I like different types for each activity. I wanted looser thin waders I wore clothes under for wade fishing. I liked more form fitting neoprene for the tube. I don't mind being wet if it's warm. I guided rafts a lot back in the day and stayed soaked pretty much all day long.

I'm getting breathables from Frogg Toggs this week... Their Anura II model. />

By Autumn, I'm plotting on a set of neoprenes...

Being on the water in God's nature is so relaxing.
