Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

The water temps are coming up in most parts of the country and we all are going to have the best days coming up to meet this challenge!

In the spirit of those that are fly fishers...The challenge is who can land a fish with the most god awful looking fly possible?
Those do you who are dry fly purests need to think of dryer lint and crabgrass the rest of us should think of beer tabs and cigarette butts.

Post a picture of your fly and fish and we can have a blast chatting about your poor mental state.

Good luck and I can't wait to see the results!

You're on Bill! Now if weather will cooperate. Fishin trip planned middle of the month

LOL, I am good at GOD AWFUL FLIES!!!!!!!!!

No Greg I that the credit there.

i live in south central louisiana  we have had a rash of cold weather in april and just had a low of 42 last night. the water temps are runing around 72-74 in the open ,in the trees where most of the big fish spawn the temp is runing 65-69 so if you want to talk about a poor mental state i got one for you.

now if I could just get a hook on my face I would win for sure; anyway, that is what they told my mother

My mom always said I had a face for radio.

I tied a fly last week that was made out of duct tape and the rubber band off a head of broccli....it was truely gawd awful!  So much so I couldn't get a bite...I'm trying again this weekend and will try to post a pic of my next creation.

Bill

LOL sounds like I need to dig some of my Uglybutt ties out of the scrap can :)
