Hey guys... How about a friendly competition between our BBG brothers and sisters at the Rendezvous? I've got trophies for the following 3 categories : Largest Bluegill, Largest Redear and Most Fish Caught. Participants would be required to keep up with the total number of eating size fish kept each day as well as weigh their largest Bluegill and/or Redear of the day. The competition would begin Thursday afternoon and conclude Saturday afternoon a couple of hours before LOFR's famous fish fry. All fish kept would be cleaned daily and go directly towards meeting our 'fish fry goal '. Please let me know what y'all think about my idea.
I look forward to seeing my old BBG friends and making many new ones.

So  , here we are on the cusp of the next great BBG  adventure, the waiting is over , I'm arriving Thursday  with  Mountain Mike  and this is going to be fun  I have been packing and getting things ready since last week . I am also bringing some BenGay  for my elbow  , just in case I have Bluegill Elbow , like tennis elbow , but it's from pulling in too many fish. Folks we will try to post as many photos as possible, I know pictures is worth a thousand words but nothing takes the place of being there. We will try to have as muck fun as possible for those of you that can't join us this time , but let me suggest make plans for next year , these Rendezvous  are getting bigger and better every year, and they will only get better with you there.
