Do you love big bluegill?

Ok people , Look at the Calendar , it 30 days till the next Rendezvous , A collection of quality bluegill fisherman getting together for fishing , fun, friendship and food . What else can I say , I have been to the last 2 and I wont miss the next one . It is so good to be around like minded people that you talk to here on BBG, this time I get to put faces on the ones I talk to that I haven't met yet , Haha  and if you want to see what the Lord of the Fly Rods looks like all you have to do is show up. We have people coming from all over the country this time, it's going to be great , I wish yall can be there to but you have to make that decision yourself, we can't do that for you but you will be more than WELCOME if you can get here.  I guarantee you will have a good time.   LOFR

LEO;; DID YOU EVER CONSIDER;; WHAT YOU MIGHT GET BACK ???   A WIFE; AND KIDS; THAT WILL BE SO SPOILED;; THERE WILL BE NO RETURN !!  AND;; THEY WILL LIKE IT TO ;; HAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHA

Hm..Let me think about that. Want to adopt them?

HEY MIKE;; TRY TO MAKE PLANS FOR NEXT YEAR; IF YOU CANT MAKE IT THIS YEAR !!  WE DO FLY TYING; ; JIG MAKING; ; AND OF COURSE A FEW FISHING STORIES MIGHT BE TOLD;; SOME; MIGHT EVEN BE TRUE !!  THIS IS JUST A COME TO MEET  FELLOW BIG BLUE GILL MEMBERS; MAYBE A FEW OTHERS TO;; DO A LITTLE FISHING;; HAVE A TON OF FUN !!

23 day left till the "Rendezvous " Folks we are pumped , not only for the food , the fun , and the fish ,but  it is getting to meet with old friends from former Rendezvous , and meeting the new friend that we visit with here on BBG for the first time in person  !It's the friends you have in life that makes you Rich , and the folk I have met on here are some of the finest. I'm not in the best of shape right now but I am not going to miss this, this is what life is all about, Note : We may have to change the menu from the fish fry Fri night to the shrimp crawfish boil , that way we can keep the crawfish fresh to go into the pot , but never fear , we will have the fish fry Saturday night with all the trimmings, including all the fish we catch Saturday, I will personally clean all the fish with an electric knife , unless someone wants to try my technique after I they see me do it , I try to do it at a rate of 3 bluegill a minute after I get warmed up, so it's never too late so if you want to come dont be shy you are more than welcome . Hey Y'all!  You gotta come to this one.  We always have intense fishing secrets, lure lore, and a lively discussion on technique.

We have experts on every topic, from knives, bobbers, poles and reels, you name it.

And we have LOFR.  That in itself is worth the trip.  Come see us.

Anyone know what the weather forecast may look like down that way? Weather got nice here for a week but is again cold and rainy.

Craig the forecast is for highs in the upper 70's and low 80's. Lows in the upper 60's.

Another article that previews things to come in West Tennessee. Fingers crossed for the rendezvous.

hey, new to forum and enjoying it so far. just wanted to say that i live in Camden on the Birdson Creek prong and fish from Cuba landing all the way north to the Big Sandy. the river has been at summer pool a couple of weeks early and has affected the crappie bite but it doesnt seem to affect the bluegill. we have been catching them in 2-6 feet of water and they are hitting well when you find them. the crackers are just starting to hit as well but not like they will be in a couple of weeks. the water clarity so far has been the clearest ive seen in years for spring water.

Great News Tracy , you can be our ," I mean my personal"  Guide this trip since you know the Area , so make sure you come to the Rendezvous      LOFR

TRACY !!!!!!!!!    WE WILL BE AT THE NATHAN BEDFORD FORREST STATE PARK; AT THE CABINS ON TOP OF THE HILL;; WE WILL BE THERE ON THURSDAY; THE 19TH  WE NEED YOU TO COME AND GIVE US SOME INFORMATION IF POSSIBLE !!  WE COULD REALLY USE A GUIDE;; YOUR  IT !!!   AND WELCOME TO BIG BLUE GILL !!  LOL

i will sure try but i am taking a trip to florida that week but plan on coming back on thursday. are yall gonna be at NBF on firday too?
