Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

What are all your guys favorite artificial lures?

Mine are Leland's crappie magnets.

My favorites for bream are a 1" curl-tail grub, and a 1" tube jig tipped with a Berkley Gulp maggot vertically jigged under a bobber. For crappie, I like to use a 11/4" paddle-tail grub (looks like a Charlie Brewer slider grub but shorter), and a I1/2" curl-tail grub. I make all of the mentioned baits myself, so I get to experiment with a variety of colors. In a pinch, I like to use the 1" Keystone Minnow made by Renoskey. Nick.
I like Rooster Tails and small minnows, but I can't wait to try some Rattlin' Spoons I just ordered. Small crankbaits are another favorite.
1/80 and 1/64 oz plain jighead with Gulp maggots!

1" tube or twistertail in dark color is also good for me!
My favorite is a tie between Lelands" trout Magnets and M.P. Products Twitchers. Cheak out Bluegill tackle review for more info on twitchers
Spoons....1/16 to 1/4 oz......you'll never know it, until you throw it!
The only thing I've used is a Teeny Wee R crawfish (Rebel) and a beetle spin. Both work good at times. I'd like to try the spoons I'm reading about on this site.
My personal favorite is a 1/32 fish n spin. I used to use a beetle spin until I ran across fish n spin. It has a willow leaf blade and a tube type body instead of the grub style used on the beetle spin. It is by far the most consistent lure that I have used and will catch virtually anything that swims. If you check them out, I am confident that you will not be disappointed. Art
I've sort of gotten into the small cranks this year. The Yo-Zuri Snap bean and the Matzuo Nano Crank are my favorite. I've also done very well with the Strike King Plastic Creature Baits.
