Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Hi today instead of fishing the pond behind my home i decided to travel to a close by stream to try and catch some fish for some reason i felt there would be some nice fish in the stream.. Fished a ultralight setup with small float and size 10 hook caught several pretty chubs and some form of sunfish ID these fish if u know of them

The ones with the bumps on their heads are Creek Chubs. They are males with full-on breeding tubercles (the bumps). The other looks like an Orange Spotted Sunfish.

I'm new to the site. I don't see your photos. Using iPhone. I like the look on the phone but I can't see your posted photos that the other reply obviously can. On my computer the pages are too busy and hard to read with all the repeated fish pictures. I want to like this site but both me and a friend that joined recently agree that the content is good but it is very difficult to use this forum. I frequent many similar forums that are much easier.

I agree on the Creek Chubs, but the second one looks like a Red Breast to me. They are aggressive and scrappy fighters. I I catch them out of a slow moving river near me. The stream in the background looks really good from what I can see. Congrats on your catch, Brent!

Second one definitely looks like a pale redbreast to me...
