Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I have taken alot of interest in catching some gills on Spoons after taking in the great testimony from the spoon gurus of Bigbluegill.com. I was just looking for any opinions or recommendations on the spoons I have pictured. Thanks for your time!

I have some of those.....they should catch fish.

I would change the hook to one with a larger eye like the Eagle Claw L210.....the swimming action becomes greatly enhanced if the hook eye isn't limited to the narrowing in the split ring.

Thanks Bill, you are exactly right though, I changed the trebble hooks and put the new hooks on them but I didn't even think of the impact on the spoon action. The hooks I added are stuck in the snap ring at the opening. Appreciate the feedback!
can you tell me where you bought theses spoons and what brand they are?
 I purchased these spoons off the shelf at my local Bass Pro Shops. They are the Bass Pro brand 1/8 ounce "Wind Rider". The stock numbers are as follows: Chrome/Blue WR18-03, Firetiger WR18-13 and Rainbow WR18-14. They each come with a treble hook but spoon fishermen on this site recommend replacing it with a regular hook. Look at the other comments on this discussion for a recommendation for the replacement hooks. Hope this information helps you Kenneth.
