Can any body show me a better snell knot that's going around these

day's?

Hay thank's Lary, I think seen this video before, this is a very typical snell knot, I'm looking for one that don't bring the tag end over the wraps, I did try this knot and it did come unwrapped so

be careful with this knot.

Billy, there are various Snell knot approach, but, all of them pretty much utilize the same method of tag end over the end of line. Maybe this?

I use the traditional method, which is probably the hardest method to learn. It took me probably a week or two of practice before I could finally get it down pat. The traditional Snell Knot is the best knot for hooks and better yet, it catches more fish because of it's single plane relationship with the shank of the hook. It's hard to master but very much worth the effort it takes to finally master it.

 

I've used damn near every knot they recommend for hooks and I'm telling you, that Snell Knot is a beast.

Maybe this traditional method with an easier approach may be for you?
