20150826- did a little shore fishing near the bridge picked up on quite a few bluegill tight to cover and about 13 crappie in a loose-fitting school. Sorry no pictures phone and camera are still drying out.

20150827- ...------<")))))><(

20150827 - Well after 2 days in the rice bag the phone appears to have been restored 90 something percent of its functionality. Touch screen does not respond unless I use the stylus and does not recognize SD card . I guess a small price to pay for lesson learned.

20150827- Just a quick update on the phone... pulled the SD card and backed everything up... then did a full factory reset and now i have full functionality... SWEEET!

went on Amazon and ordered a waterproof bag that you wear around your neck. back in business!

20150827- Had a 2 hr slot to fill so I went looking for the crappie bite since they were hitting so good yesterday. Could not beg for a hit. Scanned areas with the sonar for schools on favorite spots … I could not mark a fish! I figured they were buried in the deep weed edges so I cast jigs down tipping the weed edges… not even a blue gill nibble. So I went looking for the B’Gill bite in the slop… a consistent pattern for the Gillage all summer long with the kayak. One 6 incher on the float and Pink Gulp Waxie. Was just about ready to call it a day when I saw a bruiser school of LMB slowly swim past the kayak… talk about stealth! I cast the shoreline in their direction and hooked up! This fish tore up lily pad bed slicing my 6# Power Pro line thru the slop. Amazing fight especially on the 6-0 UL. BFOTD at 17” class.

this is what my desk looked like today... a lot of patience working these areas... it just coughed up only one gill today.

20150828- ...------<")))))><(

20150828- out on the flats getting skunked

20150829- ...------<")))))><(

20150829- building a PVC ramp to protect the bottom of the kayak and launch off concrete block. hopefully will increase my daily stay out on the lake by decreasing repetitive bending and lifting.

worked like a charm... kept the bottom of kayak from scratching against the concrete
