Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

My new rod arrived yesterday afternoon. The mail lady handed the box to me, and my worst fear was realized. It looked like something large fell on the box, and ripped it apart about 1/3 of the way from one end. I opened it and the rod was broken. :(  I called Norsemen Outdoors and explained to them what happened, and then went to the Post Office to see what they could do as far as paying for the return shipping. They said it would have to be handled on the other end. After one more call to Norsemen Outdoors,  I have a new rod coming this way, no questions asked. I offered mail it back, or to take photos of the damage, and e-mail them, but they said it was not necessary. They even took it to the Post Office so it would go out yesterday afternoon.   I know this is not a forum to advertise on, but these are definitely some top notch people, that run a top notch business .  BTW this is one incredible looking rod!

Nice! It sucks that it happened, but nothing beats excellent customer service like that.

I know what you mean.  I bought my esp rod through the sportsman's guide.  My rod was broke also, I returned the rod and got another rod.  The wait was worth it.  These rods are very sensitive.  If you do not like the retention rings to hold on your reel, then I recomment taking electrical tape and taping your reel to the handle.  They do this down south  on their Tennessee cork handles.  I hope you will enjoy you rod as much as I have mine.
