Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

yesterday i got the chance to fish a very rural pond.  it is a mile down a washed out dirt road way far from any thing.  it is about 70 acres and they don't allow motors of any kind.  the pond is loaded with quality fish there was one large bluegill that had fallen prey to an osprey.  i was wondering if any one else has a pond like this?

No, not yet but it sounds really nice and secluded. Just hope no one else finds it.
Was it natural or man made? That's a really big pond. I would have called it a lake. Anyone know what the dividing line is between pond and lake? Also, between river and creek?
i think its a natural pond. i only call it a pond because its in the name
Chris
There are 1000's of these little ponds all over the place. A knot on the door of the nearest house a smile and a " How you doing" can get you the nod to go ahead and fish. Googe earth and just see how many ponds are just down the road from you. I fell into a 10 acres lake full of bass and catchfish just this way. Most people look at a guy who just wants to fish as an OK kinda guy. Of course bring them a few clean fish also helps.
