Do you love big bluegill?
I'm trying to get all of my panfish stuff into one tackle box. Right now I typically use Plano storage containers, but I'm trying to get them all organized into just one box.
I would like for this box to be able to fit into the middle container of a Jon Boat. I'm not 100% sure what that size is (and I suppose I'll have to measure when I get home). Any ideas?

I am much the same, Tony. In recent years I have done well with a fly fishermans vest as a 'carry-all' storage. This year, I really trimmed it down to just a few small plastic boxes to hold a handful of jigs, hooks, small floats/bobbers and some split-shot. I use clippers and a pair of hemastats on a lanyard around my neck and might tote a small cooler to keep bait from spoiling in the summer.
Add old running shoes, cargo shorts, tank top, baseball cap and polarized glasses and I'm ready! I bank fish 95% of the time so I have to stay mobile, and I might fish 2 to 5 different ponds/small lakes in a day.
i agree i like the soft sized bags that hold the 3700 sized utility boxes.
when im gearing up for panfishing in the john boat or the kayak i load the 3700's in the orange crate and load into the boat... when hiking i store the 3700's in my back pack.... the smaller soft sided tackle bag doubles as a winter tackle storage with the smaller boxes or as a camera bag during the summer.... i really like the Berkley bags
and the little chihuahua on the lwr right is just waiting for me to load up for fishing so he could go.... lol
Chris;; something else ; just to think about. google plano and flambeau softside tackle bags. there are a LOT of them!!! and; I even have a plastic type of holder;; to put odds and ends;;( plus a cold drink) to the outside of a wall;; easy to reach from my boat seat. got it from bass pro a few years ago;; very handy!! like a pocket on a shirt!! check the pix on my page.
