Do you love big bluegill?
Update on bream fishing in these lakes as of 6-24-2011. Info from Talh Democrat sports section.
Talquin:
Main lake coves with sand bottoms have been loaded. One angler found a bed 50 ft long with hundreds of hand size bream. With water so clear beds are easy to find. Good time for the fly rod.
Jackson:
Fishing holes in lily pads has been excellent. Anglers fishing in 6 to 8 ft water with crickets and worms have been loading up and fish are still biting.
Seminole:
Poll fisherman have been filling coolers with bream, shellcrackers, and even a few catfish. Crickets and worms have been the way to go.
Now with all these glowing reports from the big lakes I'm ready for some of the wealth to be shared closer to home on the rivers.
