If we can fish there and monster bluegills might be gone! However who knows!
I would love to fish there even no big bluegills there and I want to fish that where the world record Bluegill came from! Part of history!
I would take a jar of water from there with me when I leave. Label on jar..... Keytona Lake... home of the world record Bluegill! This lake is only lake that I know at least 2 bluegills over 4 lbs! WOW!
If anyone know how or able to fish there ....let us know!

i grew up swimming and fishing those lakes my whole life! i just turned 31 so i know em very well.. the water is gin clear and the fish spook very easily they hold on the banks so a boat is in very tall order! i use a float/set of waders fly fishermen use em it works great! just think if it produced nearly a 5lb gill imagine the next record bass from there? ive seen some whales but never hooked one=( i did however get my 1st wall hanger outta there. 9lbs...
