Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I'm posting this for Dwayne Denison, maybe it'll work properly.

Seems little or no movement draws in the fish

I think it's not a lack of motion but the more subtle movement when the angler leaves off the big yanks.   Much of the time when fly fishing for bluegills the motion that occurs in the first instant is the one that gets bit.  Time and again when I start to pick up a fly to re-cast it gets hit before I get it off the water.  The point I'm trying to make is, often the motions we make with our bluegill baits are way too exaggerated.  Be gentle with the retrieve.  We are trying to imitate insects after all.
