Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Hey my auger broke last year and was wondering if anyone had any reviews on theres. I got to get 1 before the ice freezes because i love catching big ice gills. Is the eskimo barracuda any good?

I use a strikemaster Lazer, and love it. I hear very good things also about the Nils, and the Normark Finbore. Both of those designs use an offset handle, which is supposedly much better than the inline handle used on most augers, the lazer included.

Lazer is the best. Used to sell alot of them. They are not cheap but its worth it.

thanks everyone i ended up getting a strikemaster synthetic lazer auger. its new on the market i was going to get a 4inch but played it safe and got a 6in

Them Strikemaster Ultralites are nice. Have had mine for about a month now. Mine is  6" for some remote gill lakes. Plan is to team it up with a Tanaka gas power head for the ulimate, light, fast, panfish auger. Nils also makes a fine auger which I also have in 6" that one has a Strikemaster 4 stroke powerhead. It is light, reliable, and quieter than a 2 stroke.
