Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Been rainy every day for about a week now ..Water temp has drop into the low 80s. Me and a friend was pitching the bank of a local resevoir and decided to just try the shallows where they usually spawn and low and behold, the big bull bluegills were scattered about in 4 foot of water, we fished in the rain and wind for about 6 hours and here is the results...there is around a hundred 100, we didn't count until we got home and there was a hundred+. Anyway here is a  couple of pics...oh caught these on crickets and night crawlers pieces.

It's been years since I got a catch anything like that.  In general where were you fishing?

a small watershed owned by the city, here in the Anniston area.

Wow, that's fantastic BG fishin!  Great job.
Good work Vic, hopefully the rain gave you a cooler day out on the water!
Brought the water temp from the 90's to the 80's and got me wet all over and acually it was cold in the rain..But we struggled thru....ha ha ha
