found a new bait
was fishing for stocked trout with tiny roadrunner type baits tipped with little strips of raw shrimp.caught some nice trout.the bluegills also loved it.fighting over it like they do over little pieces of nightcrawler.was there to catch trout for dinner so did not play with the gills but will test this more.

great Jim ... ill be watching this. really like the idea of shrimp. being an aquarist for many years ... i know how much fishes love the shrimp.

Jim;; about 2 or 3 years ago; I tried using shrimp here on old hickory lake for blue gill n stuff;;; catfish wore it out !! everytime I baited with shrimp;; catfish was sure to hit !! I could pull up;; move a mile away; try it again;; catfish were everywhere it seemed !!
