Bluegills in Illinois/ Indiana
Anybody within this group that has found Bluegills or Redears in the 8-10 inch class in IL or Ind? I live in the Chicago metro area and have fished statewide everywhere from natural, man made lakes, and farm ponds. No consistent success with the exception of Willow Slough in NW Ind until the state drained lake. Looking for a new spot..

Well I live in IL and have a few ponds and lakes that will produce every day of the week my own pond in my front yard has an average of ten inch fish but in the summer I go to silver lake And when the carp spawn the bluegill go and eat their eggs and I have caught bluegill up to 13in their on egg flys
