BLUEGILL RENDEVOUIS

  Back in the old days the old mountain men would get together for a rendevous  , Tootie and I were just wondering who would be interested and like to join us in early Sept on Reelfoot Lake in Tennessee  for a Old fashion bluegill rendevouis . This wont be a fishing tournament but just a BBG get together for a good time catching fish, eating good,swapping flies and lies.  Does this not sound like too much fun ! We arn't getting any younger, let us know what you think!   LOFR

Boyett's also has one of the best restaurants one the lake. Don't forget the resident American Bald Eagles. I don't know if you have seen one in the wild but it makes a fishing trip extra special.

 I'm going to try and make it. My family and I have attended a function on that weekend for several years in a row now, so it's still uncertain.

Don't really know how long of a drive it will be for us but definitely more than 12 hours for sure.

Afraid I won't be contributing much info since I am a greenhorn when compared to you guys but it will definitely be fun fishing someplace new and south where I've always wanted to go.

Ok the weekend of Sept 6th Reelfoot Lake ,The very first Bluegill Big Bluegill Rendezvous, I WILL BE THERE,  it will be historic , the very first, so on Friday night , for those who don't want to miss this historic event, on Friday night what would you prefer on the grill? , BYOS . thats bring you own steak , or would you like sweet crusty boneless ribs done  " LOFR STYLE" , remember , never trust a skinny cook , or there is that restaurant across the street,let me know what the head count is,    Tell me what yall want Friday Night ?    LOFR
