Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

On Friday afternoon 6-19-09, the satellite radar showed a 3 hr window of fair skies...I went for it. Southwest winds had pushed my craft to the Northern shore just prior to the storm front....running on extremely low battery power, I took advantage of the 30 mph wind change as the storm helped push me back to the launch....as you can tell, I feared the worst, but had luck on my side.

I havent fished Antioch Lake in 20years. Looks like the gillls are bigger. Back then they were pretty stunted. Good job getting back to sshore.

Good to see you made it safely back. Those were some nasty storms that came through the area Thurs and Fri night. It closed down the interstate Fri as it went from being a highway to a river in the matter of an hour I think in total we received something close to 4 or so inches of rain.
