What is the worse thing that happened to you while fishing

The worse thing that has happened to me is when i was fishing at a pond i cast my hook and it hooked a girl by the neck across the lake. and i also caught a swan on a crankbait.

Fell in the water out of a boat in October. It was freezing!! and I had to cut the trip short.

About 8 years ago, I took a college friend of mine to a pit. He wasn't doing real well, so I had him stand in my spot there. 1st cast - 11.5 inch gill. At the time, I had not broken that 10 inch barrier. Worst thing was, he didn't even know what he just caught. This was his first time bluegill fishing. 20 years of almost exclusive bluegill fishing and I was one cast away. Hurt real bad.

I caught a snake in my grandfather's pond. It dropped off the hook before anyone got there, so they didn't believe me. So, then I caught it again. It was a water moccasion, and grandpa killed it. I think the worst thing about it was then I was not allowed to fish anymore.
