You think that was clarification? After re-reading what I posted and am unable to edit, now I'm a confused old man. Besides, it's just my opnion of the difference in the two. I really like being able to go back and correct a glaring mistake in the discussion form. I also really like the reply to someones particular reply and it gets grouped with it. I should probably Blog more than I do because I'm so wordy.

Thanks for the clarification. The forums are more what I am used to so I think I will hang out there.

A lot! Blogs are you or I talking about our thoughts. The forum is a back and forth discussion. In a discussion you have 15 minutes to edit your comments or replies. You can also reply to a reply and it will show up with the particular reply you are addressing, versus a general reply to the original discussion statement which goes to the bottom of the replies. You can only make comments in a blog and the newest is up top. If someone makes a comment and several others comment in between and you want to address the earliear comment, there is no tie-in like it gets placed right under the original reply you are addressing.
In my opinion, blogs are for telling your story, discussions in the forum are for questions and answers. I prefer the discussions because you can do more with it.
