Do you love big bluegill?

Caught 26!!

I work at one of the Georgia State hospitals. This particular facility has a nice 3 acre pond on the premises and I never took it seriously until last Saturday. I had to work, and decided to pick up a container of wigglers on the way in. I figured what the heck, I'll give it a try when I get off about 4:00 P.M. Well, to my surprise, I started catching some nice gills in the 7" to 9" range. I was fishing from the bank and flipping bait around 10' out. It seemed on every cast, I was getting hit. Ended up with 26 keepers, and a lot more thrown back. It was chilly and windy, but the gills didn't seem to care. Lots of fun!! Nick.

Is fishing at work legal? "Cause I used to have a bed at work and that was ok. They wouldn't let us go fishing though. We could talk about it, just like here. They might have been pullin' a fast one on us. Management!!!!!!

Throw 'em back before they drive you crazy too. Now if you had caught 'em on crickets. Those would be your normal sane southern gills. Unless they were Shellcrackers! They like worms better. Now I'm going fish crazy. Where exactly is that hospital? I need an examination of that pond.
