It is not surprising how fast this site is growing and how much information is here. Since I joined last march I have only missed 2 days of not logging on to see what happening and who said what. The two days I missed I went camping to try for brook trout on the other side of the state.
In Vermont I am ashamed to say we do nothing to promote ponds to produce larger fish unless it is a trout. We have many small ponds that are over run with small pearch and small seeds. I would think a few pike and some bass and those ponds would produce some good fish in a few years.
